Olanzapine N-oxide
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Olanzapine N-oxide is a phase I metabolite of Olanzapine (HY-14541). Olanzapine N-oxide serves as a substrate for reduction reactions and converts to Olanzapine in whole blood in vitro. Olanzapine is an antipsychotic compound widely used in research on schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
Olanzapine N-oxide (0.15-30 ng/mL) undergoes in vitro reduction in blank whole blood at 25 °C to form Olanzapine (HY-14541) and N-desmethylolanzapine (HY-W009247); its limit of quantitation is 0.15 ng/mL in both blank whole blood and urine; moreover, compared with its stability in blank whole blood at 25 °C, it shows higher stability at 4 °C, -30 °C, in blank urine, and in extracted samples[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
