p-HTAA is a pentamer hydrogen thiophene acetic acid. p-HTAA specifically labels Aβ deposits in the mice living brain^[1].

In Vivo

After the iv injection of p-HTAA, the staining of the Aβ deposits are seen in characteristic green color in ex vivo fluorescence images of cerebral amyloid plaques in brain crysosections from APP/PS1 mice^[1].
