Biological Activity
Poly (1,4-phenylene sulfide) incorporates mesoporous biochar via coagulation process, and its thermal, crystalline and morphological performances can be regulated[1].
Poly (1,4-phenylene sulfide) (PPS) is prepared via the oxidative polymerization of diphenyl disulfide, using [VO (acac)2]-C2HF4SO3H as the catalyst, and exhibits para-selectivity during the polymerization process[2].
Poly (1,4-phenylene sulfide) (PPS) films degrade in chlorinated water relying on concentration, time and pH via sulfide oxidation, aromatic ring chlorination and hydroxyl formation, and show inertness to singlet oxygen under test conditions[3].
