PPO-IN-26 is a Nicotiana tabacum protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase (NtPPO) inhibitor and Herbicide with a NtPPO Ki of 30.3 nM. PPO-IN-26 provides 100% control of 26 tested weed species. PPO-IN-26 shows low injury rates on maize, wheat, and sorghum.

PPO-IN-26 (Compound H13) (0.005−200 μM) potently inhibits purified recombinant Nicotiana tabacum protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase with a Ki value of 30.3 nM[1].
PPO-IN-26 (75−150 g a.i./ha; 3 weeks) exhibits broad-spectrum postemergent herbicidal activity, providing 100% control of 26 weed species at 150 g a.i./ha and 24 weed species at 75 g a.i./ha[1].
