RTI-263
RTI-263 is a biased Neuropeptide S receptor agonist. RTI-263 produces anxiolytic-like effects in rodents. RTI-263 reduces cocaine-seeking behavior in both male and female rats. RTI-263 does not modulate behaviors associated with natural rewards, including palatable food intake and fasting-induced food intake in rats. RTI-263 enhances memory in rodents without inducing increased arousal. RTI-263 can be used in studies related to substance use disorders and cocaine addiction.

Biological Activity
RTI-263 (1 nmole) induces anxiolytic-like behavior in male Sprague-Dawley rats, as evidenced by increased time spent in the light compartment of the light-dark box[1].
RTI-263 (10 nmole) antagonizes NPS-induced hyperlocomotion in male Sprague-Dawley rats[1].
RTI-263 (intracerebroventricular injection; single administration; 1-10 nmole) significantly reduces cue-induced cocaine-seeking behavior in male Sprague-Dawley rats[1].
RTI-263 (intracerebroventricular injection; single administration; 1-10 nmole) significantly reduces cue-induced cocaine-seeking behavior in female Sprague-Dawley rats[1].
