sBADA TFA is a potent green fluorescent dye that targets and labels peptidoglycan in the cell walls of live bacteria(Ex/Em = 490/510 nm)^[1].

In Vivo

sBADA TFA (5 min-24 h) has moderate photostability, and high thermostability with 98.5% signal retention after 24 h at 37 °C in pH 7.4 PBS with 0.1% DMSO^[1].
sBADA TFA labels peptidoglycan in wild-type E. coli BW25113 with moderate efficiency, and the E. coli outer membrane strongly blocks its permeability, with a blocking factor of 19.55^[1].
