SC 19886
SC 19886 is an inhibitor of Aldosterone (HY-113313) synthesis. SC 19886 blocks Aldosterone-induced DNA-dependent RNA synthesis. SC 19886 can be used in studies related to primary aldosteronism.

Biological Activity
SC 19886 (infused at 0.1 mM) completely inhibits spontaneous aldosterone production in perfused Rana ridibunda frog adrenal interrenal fragments, and this irreversible effect persists for at least 7 h, while it also completely blocks the stimulatory effects of ACTH and angiotensin II on aldosterone biosynthesis[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
