BP Fluor 405 Picolyl Azide is an advanced fluorescent probe that incorporatess a copper-chelating motif to raise the effective concentration of Cu(I) at the reaction site. The rate of the CuAAC reaction depends on the concentrations of all reagents, including copper, therefore raising the effective copper concentration at the reaction site dramatically increases the rate of CuAAC reaction without increasing the concentrations of azide reagent or copper. In addition, the use of picolyl azide instead of conventional azides allows for at least a tenfold reduction in the concentration of the copper catalyst without sacrificing the efficiency of labeling. In summary, the introduction of a picolyl moiety into an azide probe leads to a substantial increase in the sensitivity of alkyne detection. This is of special value for the detection of low abundance targets or where significant increase in signal intensity is desired.

15-keto Latanoprost is a potential metabolite of latanoprost (HY-B0577) when administered to animals. 15-keto Latanoprost is also one of the common minor impurities found in commercial preparations of the bulk drug compound. Although much less potent that the parent compound latanoprost, 15-keto latanoprost still retains the ability to produce a small but measurable decrease (1 mm Hg) in the intraocular pressure of normal cynomolgus monkeys when administered at a dose of 1 μg/eye.1 15-keto Latanoprost is also a miotic in the normal cat eye, causing an 8 mm Hg reduction in pupillary diameter at 5 μg/eye. Again, this is not as potent as many other F-type prostaglandins; for example, prostaglandin F2α will produce this degree of miosis at a dose of less than 1 μg/eye.

12(R)-HETE is a CYP-dependent arachidonic acid metabolite that acts as a proinflammatory lipid mediator. 12 (R)-HETE widely exists in various tissues including the eye, skin and liver. In the cornea, 12(R)-HETE is metabolized via pathways such as β-oxidation into the precursor of 12(R)-HETrE. Without direct receptor binding, 12(R)-HETE indirectly activates AHR-mediated target gene transcription, while inhibiting the enzymatic activity of Na+,K+-ATPase and the intracellular calcium elevation induced by TP agonists. 12(R)-HETE also possesses multiple physiological effects such as chemotaxis, proangiogenesis, vasodilation, natriuresis, diuresis and intraocular pressure reduction, and can be widely used in studies related to psoriasis, inflammatory skin diseases and ocular inflammation .

Research Areas:

Cardiovascular Disease Cancer

Efonidipine (NZ-105) hydrochloride is an orally active dual L-type and T-type calcium channel blocker (CCB) with IC50 values of 1.8 and 350 nM, respectively. Efonidipine hydrochloride inhibits SARS-CoV-2 main protease. Efonidipine hydrochloride modulates adrenal steroidogenesis by increasing the expression of steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR), dbcAMP-or angiotensin II-induced StAR mRNA expression and DHEA-S production, while suppressing the biosynthesis of aldosterone and cortisol. Efonidipine hydrochloride reduces plasma aldosterone levels in vivo. Efonidipine hydrochloride improves cardiac function in heart failure models by inhibiting T-type calcium channels (via both tonic and use-dependent blockade), independently of blood pressure reduction. Efonidipine hydrochloride can be used for research in hypertension, heart failure, and disorders involving dysregulated steroid hormone synthesis .

Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (yeast, recombinant) (G6PD (yeast, recombinant)) is a recombinant enzyme requiring NADP + as a coenzyme. Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (yeast, recombinant) catalyzes the oxidative dehydrogenation of glucose-6-phosphate to form 6-phosphoglucono-δ-lactone, as well as the reduction of NADP + to NADPH. Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (yeast, recombinant) relies on the amino acid Arg-52 to bind NADP +. Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (yeast, recombinant) undergoes competitive inhibition by NADPH and strong inhibition by zinc ions (Zn 2+). Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (yeast, recombinant) is an enzyme in the pentose phosphate pathway, which is one of the glucose metabolic pathways. Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (yeast, recombinant) can be used for the quantitative detection of ATP, glucose and creatine kinase .

MitoPBN is a AMPK/SIRT3/PGC-1α axis modulator, reactive oxygen species scavenger and mitochondrial function enhancer. MitoPBN increases the phosphorylation level of AMPK, restores SIRT3 expression and reverses the down-regulation of PGC-1α, thereby promoting mitochondrial biogenesis. MitoPBN regulates glucose metabolism, reduces blood glucose by inhibiting hepatic gluconeogenesis and increasing hepatic glucose uptake, while scavenging mitochondrial superoxide anion/hydrogen peroxide, maintaining membrane potential and increasing ATP production. MitoPBN also reduces cell apoptosis, improves sperm motility, survival rate and membrane integrity, but may induce reductive stress in cryopreserved sperm at high concentrations. MitoPBN is widely applicable to research related to diabetes and type 2 diabetes .

Crotonyl-CoA, a high-energy acyl donor, is an intermediate in the fermentation of butyric acid, and in the metabolism of lysine and tryptophan. Crotonyl-CoA is important in the metabolism of fatty acids and amino acids. Crotonyl-CoA acts as a substrate for p300’s histone crotonyltransferase activity, competing with acetyl-CoA for p300-mediated histone acylation reactions. Crotonyl-CoA regulates global and gene-specific histone crotonylation levels in cells, with cellular concentration changes altering histone crotonylation at regulatory elements of activated genes. Crotonyl-CoA serves as the substrate for crotonyl-CoA reductase/carboxylase (CCRC)-catalyzed NADPH-mediated reduction and carbon dioxide trapping to form unusual alkylmalonyl-CoA polyketide synthase extender units. Crotonyl-CoA can be used for the research of LPS-induced inflammatory response .

(1R)-cis-Bifenthrin is a widely used pyrethroid pesticide with activity that reduces motor coordination. (1R)-cis-Bifenthrin has a significant impact on the motor function of ParKin-/- mice, as shown by increased pole climbing time and wheel running Time decreases. Exposure of (1R)-cis-Bifenthrin resulted in a significant reduction in tyrosine hydroxylase-positive cell counts and protein expression. (1R)-cis-Bifenthrin caused increased expression of mitophagy-related proteins LC3B and p62. (1R)-cis-Bifenthrin has a lower binding energy with transferrin and transferrin receptor 2, showing stronger interactions. The biological effects of (1R)-cis-Bifenthrin show relationships with mitophagy and ferroptosis-related pathways .
