Phellopterin, an orally active furocoumarin with multiple biological activities. Phellopterin is a partial agonist of the central benzodiazepine receptors. Phellopterin exerts anti-inflammatory effects by upregulating SIRT1, downregulating ICAM-1 (reducing chronic inflammation, aiding diabetic ulcer healing), inhibiting STAT3 phosphorylation (easing atopic dermatitis inflammation), regulating Akt/PKC pathways (lowering TNF-α-induced VCAM-1 to block monocyte adhesion), and inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB pathway and macrophage M2 polarization (alleviating colitis-related cancers). Phellopterin suppresses ovarian cancer progression via inhibiting the PU.1/CLEC5A/PI3K-AKT loop (inducing cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, DNA damage). Phellopterin alleviates murine diabetes by promoting adipocyte differentiation and increasing PPARγ. Phellopterin also has anti-HSV-1 activity. Phellopterin can be used for studying anti-inflammation, anti-cancer (e.g., ovarian cancer, colitis cancer), blood glucose lowering, anti-diabetes, and anti-virus .

Isorhapontigenin (Standard) is the analytical standard of Isorhapontigenin (HY-N2593). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Isorhapontigenin is an orally active dietary polyphenol. Isorhapontigenin acts as a potent antioxidant that reduces the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Isorhapontigenin promotes the binding of JUN to the AP-1 site on the SESN2 promoter, induces SESN2 transcription, triggers MAPK8-dependent JUN activation, and upregulates the expression of PPAR-α, PGC-1α and CPT-1A to facilitate fatty acid oxidation. Isorhapontigenin induces autophagy, apoptosis and preadipocyte differentiation; it inhibits tumor growth, cell invasion, NF-κB transcriptional activity, the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, STAT1 phosphorylation and MMP-2 expression. Isorhapontigenin alleviates oxidative stress, inflammatory cytokine release and triglyceride accumulation; it increases intracellular ATP levels and promotes Nrf2 nuclear translocation. Isorhapontigenin improves insulin sensitivity in adipose tissue and glucose tolerance, and reduces postprandial blood glucose, insulin and free fatty acid levels. Isorhapontigenin is applicable to research on bladder cancer, liver injury, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute lung injury and type 2 diabetes.

Synonyms: 18α-GA; Isoglycyrrhizinic acid; 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid
18α-Glycyrrhizic acid (18α-GA; Isoglycyrrhizinic acid; 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid) is a derivative of glycyrrhizic acid with oral activity. 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid exhibits antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective and cardioprotective activities. 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid protects against ethanol-induced alcoholic liver disease in rats by upregulating the expression levels of SOD, GSH, PPAR-α and CPT-1 . 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid shows cytotoxicity against T lymphocytes and inhibits HIV-1 replication in these cells . 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid alleviates oxidative stress by reducing the levels of ROS, Nrf2, HO-1 and p-P65, and alleviates pyroptosis by downregulating the expression levels of NLRP3, GSDMD-N, P20 and c-IL-1β. 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid inhibits autophagy, colonic fibrosis and myocardial fibrosis, and regulates intestinal barrier integrity. 18α-Glycyrrhizic acid can be used in research related to alcoholic liver disease, HIV-1 infection, hepatotoxicity, acute liver failure, inflammatory bowel disease and myocardial fibrosis .

Fucoxanthinol, a carotenoid, is a deacetylated Fucoxanthin (HY-N2302) metabolite with oral activity, and inhibits rat pancreatic lipase with an IC50 of 764 nM. Fucoxanthinol reduces expression of Bcl-2, Bcl-xL, survivin, XIAP, cIAP2, cyclin D1, cyclin D2, cyclin E, CDK4, CDK6, β-catenin, JunD, PPARγ, and induces GADD45α expression. Fucoxanthinol activates caspase-3, caspase-8, caspase-9, Nrf2/Keap1/ARE pathway, and inhibits activation of Akt, NF-κB, AP-1, PDPK1, GSK3β phosphorylation. Fucoxanthinol induces apoptosis, G0/G1 cell cycle arrest, inhibits cancer cell viability, proliferation, migration, invasiveness, tumour growth, adipocyte differentiation, oxidative stress, neurotoxicity, triglyceride absorption, angiogenesis, and obesity-induced inflammation. Fucoxanthinol can be used for the research of osteosarcoma, leukemia, lymphoma, adult T-cell leukemia, prostate cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, hypertriglyceridaemia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, obesity, insulin resistance, malignant melanoma, and type II diabetes .

Jujuboside B is a bioactive saponin component isolated from Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (sour jujube seed), with oral efficacy and blood-brain barrier permeability. Jujuboside B induces acute leukemia cell death and drives necroptosis apoptosis by activating the RIPK1/RIPK3/MLKL pathway. Jujuboside B upregulates the expression of NOXA, PARP and caspase-3, activates AMPK, inhibits the proliferation of breast cancer cells, and induces cell apoptosis and autophagy. Jujuboside B inhibits angiogenesis and tumor growth by blocking the VEGFR-2 signaling pathway. Jujuboside B alleviates liver injury in mice by regulating the Nrf2-STING signaling pathway . Jujuboside B alleviates liver injury by regulating anti-inflammatory responses and downregulating the expression of 11β-HSD2. Jujuboside B induces ferroptosis and overcomes radioresistance in non-small cell lung cancer via the PPARγ-ATF3-Gpx4 signaling pathway. Jujuboside B exerts inhibitory effects on platelet aggregation. Jujuboside B inhibits febrile seizures by suppressing the activity of AMPA receptors. Jujuboside B reverses chronic unpredictable mild stress-promoted tumor progression by blocking the PI3K/Akt and MAPK/ERK pathways and dephosphorylating CREB signaling.
