Spironolactone-d6-1 is the deuterium labeled Spironolactone (HY-B0561). Spironolactone is an aldosterone antagonist that acts on the aldosterone mineralocorticoid receptor (IC50=24 nM) and androgen receptor (IC50=77 nM), promotes podocyte autophagy and regulates pain. Spironolactone improves hypertension-related vascular hypertrophy and remodeling by reducing angiotensin II (Ang II)-induced inflammation, reduces aldosterone-induced vascular and soft tissue calcification through PIT1-dependent signaling, and alleviates vascular dysfunction in type II diabetic mice by reducing oxidative stress and restoring NO/GC signaling; at low concentrations, it and its metabolites can interfere with aldosterone biosynthesis in the adrenal cortex and inhibit voltage-dependent Ca 2+ channels to exert antihypertensive effects .

Cefuroxime axetil is an orally effective broad-spectrum β-lactam antibiotic that targets bacterial penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs, such as PBP3 and PBP1). Cefuroxime axetil inhibits cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial lysis and death, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.12-4 mg/L for non-typeable Haemophilus influenzae (NTHi). Cefuroxime axetil is hydrolyzed by esterase to the active ingredient Cefuroxime (HY-B1256A) after oral absorption. Topical administration of Cefuroxime via bioadhesive nanoparticles (BNPs) can prolong the drug's retention time in the middle ear (≥7 days). Cefuroxime axetil can be used in the study of otitis media (especially NTHi infection). Cefuroxime axetil can achieve precise antibacterial effects through oral or topical nano-delivery systems, reducing systemic exposure and the risk of antibiotic resistance .

Cyanamide is a cell division and plant growth inhibitor, as well as an allelochemical derived from Vicia villosa. Cyanamide inhibits root growth and biomass accumulation in a dose-dependent manner by disrupting the formation of mitotic spindles and phragmoplast complexes, reducing the number of mitotic cells and blocking the cell cycle. The effects of Cyanamide are partially reversible after removal from low-concentration environments. Cyanamide is also a specific inhibitor of aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH). Although Cyanamide has no direct effect on tumor growth, it can significantly enhance the anti-tumor efficacy of Cyclophosphamide (HY-17420) at non-toxic doses by inhibiting the inactivation of Cyclophosphamide. Cyanamide enables Cyclophosphamide to exert equivalent therapeutic effects at lower doses, effectively inhibiting the growth of primary and metastatic tumors and prolonging the lifespan of tumor-bearing mice. Cyanamide is commonly used in studies related to ha-1 hepatoma and rls lymphosarcoma .

Kidneys are one of the vital organs in the human body. Due to their exposure to higher concentrations of circulating drugs or metabolites, they are highly susceptible to drug-induced renal injury (DIRI). According to statistics, drug-induced kidney injury accounts for approximately 20% of nephrotoxicity reports and can lead to acute kidney injury (AKI), chronic kidney disease (CKD), or even end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Early detection of drug nephrotoxicity is crucial for preventing irreversible kidney damage. Research into its mechanisms can help optimize clinical medication by adjusting dosages or avoiding combinations of nephrotoxic drugs. Additionally, predicting drug-induced nephrotoxicity in early drug development can reduce the risk of late-stage R&D failure.

MCE offers 160 nephrotoxicity compounds that have been clearly reported by the FDA to be associated with kidney injury. This library can be used for studying molecular mechanisms of nephrotoxicity or developing novel biomarkers.

Seglitide (MK-678) is an orally active, selective SSTR2 agonist and somatostatin analog. Seglitide also acts as a competitive Somatostatin receptor antagonist, with pA2 values of 6.50, 6.24 and 6.09 against SS14, SS25 and SS28, respectively. Seglitide produces only weak, transient inhibition of myocardial contractility in isolated right atria of guinea pigs. Seglitide inhibits glucagon secretion and reduces circulating insulin levels. Seglitide causes a sustained, reversible reduction in elevated systolic blood pressure in streptozotocin (HY-13753)-induced diabetic rats, but exerts no effect on spontaneously hypertensive rats. Seglitide induces membrane hyperpolarization and inhibits electrical excitability. Synonyms: Dextran 4; Dextran D4; Dextran T4(MW 3200-4800)
Dextran 4,000 is a mucus rheology modifier. The dextran molecules in Dextran 4,000 can reduce the cross-link density of mucus through osmotic effects and hydrogen bond substitution, and reduce viscoelasticity and improve the mucociliary/cough clearance index by destroying the DNA-mucin network structure in mucus. Dextran 4,000 has the ability to improve the rheological properties and clearance ability of cystic fibrosis (CF) sputum, and can be used in the study of inhalation therapy or aerosol delivery of mucostatic respiratory diseases. The Dextran series of compounds are also natural polysaccharide drug carriers that can be connected to drugs through covalent bonding methods such as ester bonds, amide bonds or click chemistry, or self-assembled to form carriers such as nanoparticles and hydrogels. Dextran is biodegradable and biocompatible, and can achieve targeted delivery and controlled release of drugs. Dextran derivatives can prolong the half-life of drugs, increase local concentrations, and reduce the activity of immune clearance .

Synonyms: (-)-Lauroylcarnitine (Standard)
Dodecanoylcarnitine (Standard) is the analytical standard of Dodecanoylcarnitine (HY-113166). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Dodecanoylcarnitine ((-)-Lauroylcarnitine) is a medium long-chain acylcarnitine, an intermediate product in key energy metabolic pathways of fatty acid β-oxidation and amino acids catabolism. The abnormal decrease in the Dodecanoylcarnitine levels indicats that mitochondrial fuel metabolism, including fatty acid oxidation is significantly disturbed. Changes in plasma concentrations of Dodecanoylcarnitine are not only associated with type II diabetes, but also with pre-diabetes status. Dodecanoylcarnitine is present in fatty acid oxidation disorders such as long-chain acyl CoA dehydrogenase deficiency, carnitine palmitoyltransferase I/II deficiency, and is also associated with celiac disease. Dodecanoylcarnitine deomonstrates high sensitivities and specificities in predicting asthma. Combined model of Decanoylcarnitine (HY-113069), Dodecanoylcarnitine, PC (16:0/0:0), and Asp Arg Pro can be used as a potential biomarker for the diagnosis of Yin-deficiency-heat syndrome .
