Tylophorinidine
Tylophorinidine is a natural phenanthroindolizidine alkaloid present in Tylophora ovata, and exhibits NFκB inhibitory activity. Tylophorinidine suppresses the cell viability of 3D co-culture spheroids derived from triple-negative breast cancer cells. Tylophorinidine is used in related research on triple-negative breast cancer.

Tylophorinidine (compound 2) inhibits NFκB-mediated transcription in MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells, with an IC50 of 38.2 nM at 24 h; it also reduces cell viability, with an IC50 of 117.9 nM at 24 h[1].
Tylophorinidine reduces the cell viability of MDA-MB-231/CAF 3D co-culture spheroids, with an IC50 of 441 nM after 72 h of treatment[1].
