Biological Activity
WLSEAGPVVTVRALRGTGSW enhances the internalization of exosomes by cardiomyocytes and promotes the targeted delivery of miR302 after conjugation with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes[1].
WLSEAGPVVTVRALRGTGSW mediates the preferential localization of phages displaying this peptide in mouse heart tissues, including uptake by cardiomyocytes in vivo, and blocks the uptake of phages displaying its own sequence by primary cardiomyocytes[2].
