2,2'-Methylenebisbenzothiazole (Compound 1) (10 μM; 72 h) moderately inhibits the proliferation of Caco-2 colorectal adenocarcinoma cells, and its antiproliferative activity is weaker than that of most tested cyanine dyes[1].
