3-Indoleacetic acid-d₇  (Synonyms: Indole-3-acetic acid-d₇; 3-IAA-d₇)

3-Indoleacetic acid-d₇ is the deuterium labeled 3-Indoleacetic acid[1]. 3-Indoleacetic acid (Indole-3-acetic acid) is the most common natural plant growth hormone of the auxin class. It can be added to cell culture medium to induce plant cell elongation and division.

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
