5,8-Dimethoxyquinoxaline serves as the core synthetic precursor of TU100 quinoxaline analogs; all its derivatives inhibit the viability of BT5 breast cancer and PC3 prostate cancer cells[1].
5,8-Dimethoxyquinoxaline undergoes oxidation and chlorination to yield a dichloro intermediate, which then undergoes cyclization to form indoloquinoxaline derivatives targeting TOP1[2].
