5-Methylcytidine 5′-triphosphate trisodium (5-Methyl-CTP) can participate in the synthesis of modified PTEN mRNA, substituting for standard cytidine triphosphate to produce modified mRNA with reduced immunostimulatory properties; PTEN mRNA can restore PTEN protein expression in PTEN-deficient PC3 prostate cancer cells[1].
5-Methylcytidine 5′-triphosphate trisodium (5-Methyl-CTP) is successfully incorporated into in vitro transcribed mRNA to generate modified mRNA for downstream delivery applications[2].
