Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
O-silyl protected 6-Bromo-1-hexanol acts as a precursor linker to synthesize a-keto amide HDAC inhibitors, including compounds 15, 16, and 18 which inhibit HDAC1/HDAC2 with IC50 values of 526 nM, 143 nM, and 853 nM, respectively, in a fluorescence-based assay using K562 erythroleukemia cell nuclear extracts[1].
