Aminopyralid is a synthetic auxin herbicide. Aminopyralid provides foliar and soil residual weed control, and also increases forage yield in bahiagrass pastures. When present as a soil residue, Aminopyralid causes phytotoxicity, reduced plant height, decreased flower number and fruit yield loss in rotated vegetable crops. Aminopyralid is registered for the control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in pastures, permanent grasslands and non-cropped areas.

Description

Aminopyralid is a synthetic auxin herbicide. Aminopyralid provides foliar and soil residual weed control, and also increases forage yield in bahiagrass pastures. When present as a soil residue, Aminopyralid causes phytotoxicity, reduced plant height, decreased flower number and fruit yield loss in rotated vegetable crops. Aminopyralid is registered for the control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in pastures, permanent grasslands and non-cropped areas[1].

In Vitro

Aminopyralid (1.4-44.8 g·ae/ha; broadcast to bare soil; single application; 3 weeks prior to planting/seeding) soil residues cause severe, concentration-dependent crop injury and yield loss in sensitive vegetable crops, with substantial harm occurring even at the limit of quantitation (0.2 μg/kg) for soil detection[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
