Verification Images

  • Experimental Validation Results for Carboxypeptidase A1/A2/B Antibody (YA2486)
Western blot analysis of extracts from U251 (lane2, 20μg) and U251 (lane2, 40μg) using Carboxypeptidase A1/A2/B Antibody (HY-P82741). Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/500) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80993, 1/10,000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8001,1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
  • Experimental Validation Results for Carboxypeptidase A1/A2/B Antibody (YA2486)
Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse pancreas tissue using Carboxypeptidase A1A2B Antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 8 minutes. The tissues were blocked in QuickBlock for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/100 dilution in 4℃ overnight. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Background

  • Function

Carboxypeptidase A1/A2/B is a P15085: Carboxypeptidase that catalyzes the release of a C-terminal amino acid, but has little or no action with -Asp, -Glu, -Arg, -Lys or -Pro. Catalyzes the conversion of leukotriene C4 to leukotriene F4 via the hydrolysis of an amide bond
P48052: Carboxypeptidase that catalyzes the release of a C-terminal amino acid, with a preference for large aromatic C-terminal residues
    [1][2].
