Biological Activity
Antimycobacterial agent-17 (Compound 5m) (0.25-64 μg/mL) inhibits the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis mc26230, with an MIC of 1 μg/mL[1].
Antimycobacterial agent-17 inhibits the growth of isoniazid (HY-B0329)-resistant, rifampicin (HY-B0272)-resistant, and multidrug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains with MIC values of 2 μg/mL, 0.5 μg/mL, and 1 μg/mL, respectively[1].
Antimycobacterial agent-1 exhibits a CC50 of 21.93 μg/mL in HepG2 cells and a CC50 of 2.16 μg/mL in THP-1 cells, with selectivity indices of 21.93 and 2.16, respectively[1].
