NNRT-IN-17

NNRT-IN-17 is a non-nucleoside HIV-1 Reverse Transcriptase inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 0.095 μM. NNRT-IN-17 exerts its inhibitory effect by binding to the NNRTI binding pocket and adjacent sites, and exhibits antiviral activity against wild-type and multiple NNRTI-resistant mutant strains. NNRT-IN-17 can be used for the study of HIV-1 infection (AIDS).

NNRT-IN-17 (COMPOUND 19) exhibits potent antiviral activity against wild-type HIV-1 IIIB and broad activity across a panel of NNRTI-resistant HIV-1 strains when tested in MT-4 cells, with a 0.0049 μM EC₅₀ against wild-type HIV-1 and a 0.0035 μM EC₅₀ against the prevalent K103N mutant^[1].
NNRT-IN-17 (COMPOUND 19) potently inhibits wild-type HIV-1 reverse transcriptase in a cell-free biochemical assay, with an IC₅₀ of 0.095 μM, confirming direct molecular targeting of the viral enzyme^[1].
