BSTFA-TMCS (30 μL, 60% ACN solution; 30 s at 22°C) is derivatized in situ in Portland cement samples co-ground with 200 ppm grinding aid; pyr-GC/MS gives the highest recoveries of phenol (93%) and DG (86%) in SPEX-ground HT cement, whereas recoveries in rotary-milled SW cement at 105°C are lower: phenol 80%, DG 19%^[1].
