(+)-Bornyl acetate exerts a strong inhibitory effect on root growth of Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings. (+)-Bornyl acetate can induce adult male Periplaneta americana to exhibit sexual behavior and possesses sex pheromone-like activity[1][2][3][4].
