Decloxizine is a piperazine-type H1 histamine receptor antagonist. Decloxizine selectively blocks H1 histamine receptors, inhibiting histamine-induced capillary dilation, edema, and itching. Decloxizine has some 5-HT2 receptor antagonistic activity. Decloxizine can be used in studies of urticaria, allergic rhinitis, and bronchial asthma[1][2][3].
