In Vitro

Caspase-3/7 activator 1 (Compound 7a) inhibits Wi-38, Caco-2 and HepG-2 cells with IC50 values of 11.195 µM, 0.088 µM, 0.115 µM, respectively[1].
Caspase-3/7 activator 1 (0.06 μM; 72 h) significantly inhibits the expression of apoptosis inhibitor Bcl2 in Caco-2 cells (down-regulates Bcl2 by 0.471 folds). Caspase-3/7 activator 1 insignificantly effects the morphology of Caco-2 and HepG-2 cells[1].
Caspase-3/7 activator 1 (0.088 µM; 72 h) has the potential to induces apoptosis of Caco-2 cells (the total apoptotic cell populations is 50.905 %)[1].
