In Vitro

CG-0988 (4.6-10000 nM; 24 h) potently inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication in replicon-transfected Huh7 cells, with an EC₅₀ of 6.6 nM^[1].
CG-0988 (1 μM; 3 days) potently inhibits infection of Vero E6 cells by SARS-CoV-2 USA_WA1/2020, Delta B.1.617.2 and Omicron EG.5.1 variants, with EC₅₀ values of < 1, 2 and 4 nM, respectively^[1].

In Vivo

CG-0988 (10 mg/kg; p.o.; single dose) exhibits favorable oral pharmacokinetic properties in male Sprague-Dawley rats, with 59.2% oral bioavailability and longer plasma half-life than nirmatrelvir^[1].
CG-0988 (1-3 mg/kg; i.v., p.o.; single dose) exhibits excellent oral pharmacokinetic properties in beagle dogs, with 94.0% oral bioavailability and slow plasma clearance^[1].
