ME67
ME67 (EM-B enol ether) is a motilin receptor (Motilin Receptor) agonist with pIC50 values of 8.38 and 6.49 for rabbit and human motilin receptors, respectively. ME67 activates the G protein-coupled Motilin Receptor, inducing calcium mobilization, calcium flux, receptor internalization, and gastrointestinal motility. ME67 can be used in research on gastrointestinal motility disorders.

Biologische Aktivität
Beschreibung
In Vitro
ME67 induces calcium ion release in CHO-K1 cells expressing the human motilin receptor, with a pEC50 of 8.12[1].
ME67 contracts rabbit duodenal segments with a pEC50 of 7.11 and binds to rabbit antral motilin receptors with a pIC50 of 8.38[1].
ME67 activates Ca2+ flux in CHO-K1 cells expressing human MTLR and apoaequorin, with a pEC50 of 8.12, and desensitizes the subsequent motilin response with a pDC50 of 6.03[2].
ME67 (10−12-10−4 M; 60 min) binds to the human motilin receptor in CHO-MTLR membranes with a pIC50 of 6.49[2].
