Activité biologique
Pseudostellarin E (3 days post-infection) biosynthesis is induced by overexpression of the prePhPE gene in Nicotiana benthamiana leaves, confirming prePhPE is the precursor gene for PE production in Pseudostellaria heterophylla[1].
Pseudostellarin E precursor gene prePhPE transcripts are primarily localized to the xylem and phellem of Pseudostellaria heterophylla roots and the phellem, cortex, and xylem of stems[1].
