Biological Activity
Cross-linked dextran LH 20 is a methylated cross-linked dextran that can be used for for gel filtration through size-exclusion chromatography. Cross-linked dextran LH 20 excludes larger molecules from the pores, and allows small molecules to enter the pores of gel particles. Cross-linked dextran LH 20 can be used for separation of alkanes and cycloalkanes in petroleum fractions, or the isolation of flavonoids from plants[2][3].
