Cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) is a cyclic dipeptide with broad-spectrum antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activities. Its biological activity is highly dependent on the stereoconfiguration and is widely present in microbial metabolites. Cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) efficiently and specifically inhibits the production of aflatoxin by Aspergillus flavus. The cis configuration of Cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) (cis-cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro)) has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against multi-drug resistant bacteria and significantly inhibits the influenza A virus H3N2.

Biological Activity
Cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) (0.1-12 mg/mL, 2-3 days) inhibits the accumulation of norsolinoic acid (NA) in the mutant strain NFRI-95 of Aspergillus parasiticus, and inhibits spore formation[1].
Cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) (4 d) exhibits inhibitory effects on the production of aflatoxins by Aspergillus parasiticus SYS-4, with an IC50 value of 0.2 mg/mL[1].
Cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) (1-100 μg/mL, 1-7 days) has a significant inhibitory effect on the germination of Colletotrichum orbiculare spores, effectively interfering with the formation of the pathogen's infection structure and reducing the severity of cucumber anthracnose disease[2].
Cis-cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) exhibits significant inhibitory effects on the influenza A virus H3N2 and on multidrug-resistant bacteria (such as S. aureus and S. Typhimurium)[3].
