Biological Activity
DPhPC is the core phospholipid component for constructing nitroglycerin nanoliposomes, which enables the effective encapsulation of nitroglycerin by virtue of its amphipathic property and facilitates the efficient uptake of nanoliposomes by endothelial cells. The nanoliposomes prepared on the basis of DPhPC can improve the bioavailability of nitric oxide and exert anti-inflammatory effects[1].
