Description
In Vitro
Dracoflavan A (compound 5) undergoes acetylation; 30 mg of the sample is dissolved in dry pyridine (0.3 mL), Ac2O (0.5 mL) is added, and the reaction proceeds for 30 min. Reaction with Ac2O in the pyridine system affords its triacetate derivative, confirming that the parent molecule contains three phenolic hydroxyl groups[1].
