1. Protein Tyrosine Kinase/RTK
  2. c-Fms
  3. Eflapegrastim

Eflapegrastim is a human IgG4 monoclonal antibody, is also a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). Eflapegrastim targets to G-CSF receptor (c-Fms). Eflapegrastim stimulates proliferation and differentiation of neutrophil progenitor cells and maintains stable numbers of mature and functional neutrophils. Eflapegrastim also shortens the duration of neutropenia.

Description

Eflapegrastim is a human IgG4 monoclonal antibody, is also a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). Eflapegrastim targets to G-CSF receptor (c-Fms). Eflapegrastim stimulates proliferation and differentiation of neutrophil progenitor cells and maintains stable numbers of mature and functional neutrophils. Eflapegrastim also shortens the duration of neutropenia[1].

In Vitro

Eflapegrastim has an IgG4 Fc fragment and short polyethylene glycol linker[1].
Eflapegrastim (5.5-88 mM; 4 min) binds to FcRn but not Fcγ receptors or C1q[1].
Eflapegrastim (0.000036-0.709 nmol/L; 54 h) induces bone marrow cell proliferation[1].
Eflapegrastim (10 μM; 1 h) binds FcRn and undergoes FcRn-mediated transcytosis[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Eflapegrastim (100 μg/kg; s.c.; single dose) decreases the duration of neutropenia (DN) and increases levels of G-CSF in serum and marrow in chemotherapy-induced neutropenic rats[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
