Description

Fraxinuacidoside functions as a norditerpene glucopyranoside with a unique carbon skeleton. Fraxinuacidoside can be found in the stem bark of Fraxinus sieboldiana^[1].

In Vitro

Fraxinuacidoside shows no cytotoxic activity against human cancer cell lines (IC₅₀ > 5 μM).
Fraxinuacidoside (10 μM, 24 h) suppresses TNF-α secretion in mouse peritoneal macrophages.
Fraxinuacidoside (10 μM, 0.5 h) inhibits Fe²⁺-cystine-induced rat liver microsomal lipid peroxidation (IC₅₀ > 10 μM).
