A-486 shows very weak inhibitory activity against purified p300-BHC HAT domain in vitro, with an IC50 greater than 10,000 nM[1].
A-486 shows very weak inhibitory activity against purified CBP-BHC HAT domain in vitro, with an IC50 of 9,032 nM[1].
A-486 (dose range) binds very weakly to purified p300 HAT domain in vitro, with a Kd of 20,000 nM and a fast off-rate[1].
A-486 (3 h) is inactive in PC-3 prostate adenocarcinoma cells, failing to reduce H3K27Ac or H3K9Ac levels after 3 hours of treatment[1].
