TBI (0.5 μM) binds purified Broccoli RNA to produce a complex with a red-shifted excitation spectrum, high quantum yield, and more than 13,000-fold fluorescence enhancement relative to free TBI^[1].
TBI binds purified Broccoli RNA with high affinity, having a K_d of 71 nM, comparable to BI and significantly higher than DFNS^[1].
TBI (10 μM; 1 h) exhibits low background fluorescence in HEK293T cells and induces high fluorescence specifically in cells expressing the Broccoli RNA aptamer^[1].
