1. GPCR/G Protein Anti-infection
  2. GPR84 Enterovirus
  3. GPR84 antagonist 11

GPR84 antagonist 11 is a highly selective GPR84 antagonist, with a human pA2 of 8.41 and a pKi of 8.16. GPR84 antagonist 11 competitively inhibits the binding of agonists to the orthosteric site of GPR84 and has improved druglike properties, though its metabolic stability still requires optimization. GPR84 antagonist 11 can be used in the research of autoimmune diseases and fibrotic diseases.

Description

GPR84 antagonist 11 is a highly selective GPR84 antagonist, with a human pA2 of 8.41 and a pKi of 8.16. GPR84 antagonist 11 competitively inhibits the binding of agonists to the orthosteric site of GPR84 and has improved druglike properties, though its metabolic stability still requires optimization. GPR84 antagonist 11 can be used in the research of autoimmune diseases and fibrotic diseases[1].

In Vitro

GPR84 antagonist 11 (Compound 42E2) is a moderately potent competitive orthosteric antagonist of mouse GPR84, with a pA2 value of 6.4[1].
GPR84 antagonist 11 exhibits no significant activity against FFAR1, FFAR2, FFAR3 or FFAR4, demonstrating remarkable selectivity for GPR84[1].
GPR84 antagonist 11 exhibits favorable solubility, logD, and plasma protein binding properties, but shows poor metabolic stability in mouse liver microsomes[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
