HPPD-IN-4
HPPD-IN-4 is a Herbicide and HPPD inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.19 μM against Arabidopsis thaliana HPPD. HPPD-IN-4 disrupts carotenoid biosynthesis and exhibits post-emergence herbicidal activity against Abutilon theophrasti and Chenopodium album.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
HPPD-IN-4 (Compound III-29) (25 min) inhibits Arabidopsis thaliana HPPD (AtHPPD) in vitro with an IC50 of 0.19 μM[1].
HPPD-IN-4 (150 g a.i./ha) produces >90% postemergence inhibition of four weed species (CA and AT) and causes albino symptoms in leaves[1].
HPPD-IN-4 (300 g a.i./ha) leaves measurable chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and carotenoid contents in cotton, peanut, wheat, rice, and corn, including wheat Ca 0.96 mg/g and peanut Ca 1.11 mg/g[1].

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay
Cytotoxicity assays are usually based on the assessment of cell membrane damage, which can also be indirectly detected by measuring cell viability. Detection methods include MTT assay, CKK-8 assay, LDH assay and ATP assay, etc.
