RC98

RC98 is a monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) and acts as a selective PD-L1 inhibitor. RC98 binds specifically to human and cynomolgus monkey PD-L1. RC98 blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor PD-1 to reverse T-cell inactivation mediated by PD-1/PD-L1 signaling. RC98 enhances the cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-mediated anti-tumor immune response against PD-L1-expressing tumor cells. RC98 can be used for the research of tumor immunity and solid tumors.

RC98 (15 mg/kg; i.v.; once weekly; 4 weeks) activates the immune system in cynomolgus monkeys, as evidenced by up to 64.5% PD-L1 receptor occupancy on CD3⁺ T cells, enhanced KLH-induced T-cell-dependent antibody responses, and elevated soluble PD-L1 concentrations^[1].

Elevated anti-KLH IgM levels versus controls at 168 h, 336 h, and 504 h post-first dose.
Increased anti-KLH IgG levels versus controls at multiple time points post-first and last doses.
Induced sustained elevation of soluble PD-L1 with a strong correlation to serum RC98 concentrations.
