Polyphenols are compounds with various phenolic functions. Natural polyphenols can regulate the cell cycle, induce apoptosis, inhibit cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and differentiation, and possess a variety of biological activities such as antioxidation, anti-inflammation, anticancer, and antimutagenic effects.
