Con: control; Veh: Vehicle (Saline); RIS: Risperidone; LOT: Low dose (6 μg/kg) of OT; MOT: Medium dose (20 μg/kg) of OT; HOT: High dose (60 μg/kg) of OTAfter 1 week of acclimation, animals in the control group were administered saline (10 ml/kg) and those in the model group were administered MK801 (0.6 mg/kg) through intraperitoneal (i. p.) injections once a day for 21 days. One week after MK801 administration, 6 μg/kg OT (LOT group, n = 10), 20 μg/kg OT (MOT group, n = 10), or 60 μg/kg OT (HOT group, n = 10) was given through the i.n. route twice daily, at 8:30–9:30 AM and 4:00–5:00 PM, for 14 days. Saline (0.2 μL/g) was administered intranasally in the control and vehicle groups. Then, the mice received an i.p. injection of MK801 30 min after OT administration.
