Evybactin

All DNA/RNA Synthesis Isoforms :

In Vitro

Evybactin (0-1000 µg/mL; 24 h) inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis with a MIC value of 0.25 µg/mL^[1].
Evybactin (100 µM; 30 min) induces DNA cleavage with an IC₅₀ value of 1 μM^[1].

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay^[1]

HepG2, FaDu and HEK293 cell lines

Result:

Showed no toxicity against HepG2, FaDu and HEK293 human cells with IC₅₀s ＞128 µg/mL.

In Vivo

Evybactin (25-100 mg/kg; i.p. once) effectively inhibits E. coli infection in vivo^[1].
