Biological Activity
Meclofenoxate Hydrochloride (10 µM, 24 hours) significantly protects mitochondrial function in primary neurons, restoring mitochondrial morphology, reversing Rotenone (HY-B1756)-induced mitochondrial damage, and regulating redox balance[3].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
-
Cell Line:Murine primary neurons (Parkinson’s disease model induced by Rotenone (HY-B1756))
-
Concentration:10 µM
-
Incubation Time:24 h
-
Result:Restored mitochondrial function-related genes (Ndufa12, Cox6b1, Atp5k, Src) and reversed ROT-induced synaptic dysfunction by regulating Chrna4, Syt11, and Cdh8.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
-
Animal Model:Rotenone (HY-B1756)-induced Parkinson’s disease model in C57B/L mice[3]
-
Dosage:50 µg/g
-
Administration:Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), once daily for 4 weeks
-
Result:Reduced anhedonia in the sucrose preference test, improved motor deficits in behavioral tests.

For the following dissolution methods, please prepare the working solution directly:
It is recommended to prepare fresh solutions and use them promptly within a short period of time.
The percentages shown for the solvents indicate their volumetric ratio in the final prepared solution. If precipitation or phase separation occurs during preparation, heat and/or sonication can be used to aid dissolution.
