Biological Activity
The (S)-enantiomer accounts for approximately 80% of N-NAT in commercial and research cigarettes as well as smokeless tobacco. Unlike other TSNAs, N-NAT does not induce carcinogenicity in rats when administered at doses of 1, 3, and 9 mM/kg.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
