Description

NE-10133 is a ISK and IKS potassium channel (Potassium Channel) inhibitor. NE-10133 inhibits voltage-dependent and slowly activated delayed rectifier potassium currents. NE-10133 exhibits class III antiarrhythmic activity. NE-10133 is applicable for research related to arrhythmias[1][2].

In Vitro

NE-10133 potently inhibits rat ISK channels expressed in Xenopus oocytes, with an EC50 of 12 μM; at concentrations up to 20 μM, it exerts no effect on RBK1, RBK2 or RGK5 potassium channels[2].
NE-10133 potently inhibits the IKs potassium current in guinea pig ventricular myocytes with an EC50 of 11 μM, and its efficacy is comparable to its inhibitory effect on rat ISK channels in Xenopus oocytes[2].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
