NSC66098 binds (5′CAG/3′GAC) x6 RNA with nanomolar affinity in ITC and discriminates against the control 5′CAG/3′GUC duplex RNA with micromolar affinity^[1].
NSC66098 selectively blocks (5′CAG/3′GAC) RNA and inhibits PCR amplification of CAG-repeat DNA, without comparable effects on controls^[1].
NSC66098 protects Cos-7 cells from proteotoxicity induced by polyglutamine aggregates^[1].
NSC66098 (24 h) reduces Thioflavin T fluorescence of protein aggregates in HD-derived GM04281 fibroblasts in a concentration-dependent manner^[1].
