NusB-NusE interaction IN-1 (compound 1) (25 μM; 75 min) potently inhibits the protein-protein interaction between Bacillus subtilis NusB and NusE with an IC₅₀ of 6.1 μM, achieving 88% inhibition at a 25 μM concentration^[1].
NusB-NusE interaction IN-1 moderately inhibits the growth of Bacillus subtilis (9% inhibition) and Escherichia coli DH5α (21% inhibition) at a 200 μM concentration^[1].
