Biological Activity
PAR 4 (1-6) (GYPGQV) stimulats [3H]-thymidine incorporation in SMC. At 500 μM, the peptide increases DNA synthesis 2.5 fold above controls. A comparable mitogenic effect is obtained after stimulation of the SMC by 10 nM thrombin or 100 μM SFLLRN, respectively[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
