Pyrromethene 567 exerts photodynamic cytotoxicity against human lung carcinoma A549 cells with an IC50 of 6.8 μM and shows no dark toxicity at concentrations up to 200 μM[1].
Pyrromethene 567 (1 μM; 0.5 h) localizes to the cytoplasm of human lung carcinoma A549 cells but exhibits lower cellular uptake than other tested BODIPY dyes[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
