Animal Model:Male Wistar rats (250-300 g; 8-10 weeks) induced by intra-cisternal (i.c.) instillation of Capsaicin[1].

Dosage:1, 3, or 10 mg/kg

Administration:i.p.; 30 min before Capsaicin instillation

Result:Significantly attenuated the trigeminal cervical complex (TCC) neuronal activation and trigeminal ganglia (TG) calcitonin gene-related peptide immunoreactivity (CGRP-ir) elevation, and dural CGRP depletion induced by capsaicin.
